AtlasIED Wins 2019 Best of ISE Award from rAVe Pubs for IPX Endpoints

Phoenix, AZ (April, 2019) – AtlasIED's IPX Series of Endpoints recently won a 2019 Best of ISE award from rAVe Pubs. Hailed as the Best Security Product in the category of Digital Signage and Public Spaces, these third-generation, IP-enabled solutions ensure quick and efficient notification through audio and visual messaging.

In educational facilities, corporate environments, airports and transportation hubs, and healthcare facilities, as well as other public spaces, keeping visitors safe is top on the minds of facilities managers, corporate executives, administrators, and security staff, alike. Commercial AV solutions can play a key role in helping security personnel and building visitors respond to emergency situations appropriately. Complementing digital signage and reinforcing public security systems, the IPX Series of IP Endpoints make it simple and cost-effective for commercial integrators to provide their customers with solutions for background music, paging, and Mass Notification and Emergency Communications (MNEC) in one aesthetically pleasing package that blends into any environment.

Through a Unified Communications (UC) environment or the AtlasIED’s GLOBALCOM.IP ecosystem, the IPX Series delivers smart automation, including preprogrammed notifications for common functions like bells and critical alerts. A comprehensive library of prerecorded messages is available through GLOBALCOM.IP or .EDU, which can be broadcast across the facility or directed to specific zones.

IPX Series Endpoints feature integrated amplifiers that combine and convert the signal from the Ethernet cable and power from the PoE/PoE+ switch into output power that drives the attached speaker via the onboard amplifier. A PoE+ IP enabled endpoint speaker will thus have the ability to generate more output than a PoE IP enabled endpoint speaker and can cover much greater areas or overcome higher noise levels to ensure messaging is heard intelligibly. Furthermore, network bandwidth required for these Endpoints is no more than a standard VoIP phone. All of this is important for larger areas or where significant ambient noise is present, and illustrates why an AtlasIED PoE+ IP enabled IPX Series Endpoint speaker is a better choice than a standard IP or VoIP phone. The IPX Series uses existing IT infrastructure for convenience and cost-savings and offers Auto Provisioning once it is on the network. “Talk to Me” Interoperability ensures the IPX units can work within any VoIP system, as they are open-platform engineered to communicate and be controlled by the top-selling providers of Unified Communications software platforms and standard SIP PBX systems and is also compatible with Cisco scheduling and communications software.

“We are exceptionally proud to be selected for a 2019 rAVe Best of ISE Award and to be noticed for our industry-leading IP, PoE, and VoIP solutions,” says AtlasIED President and CEO John Ivey. “Our IPX Series of Endpoints are not only affordable and easy to install, but they can play a critical role in maintaining safe work environments and public spaces today.” Now available for projects worldwide, the system takes full advantage of existing voice and data networks while preserving the convenience of VoIP phones to cover important areas that a VoIP handset alone cannot.
