The Acoustical Engineer position is responsible for designing transducer, enclosure and loudspeaker/ microphone products from beginning-concept into the final market place. They work closely with other company team members such as Industrial Designers, Electronic Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Process Engineers, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Planning all the way through product realization. They provide written specifications for sales and marketing distribution as well as initial instructions and diagrams for customer use. They perform a wide variety of tasks to support the research and development department including regular product trouble-shooting, investigation and manufacturing support.

Software Engineers are responsible for the development and maintenance of AtlasIED audio distribution and management of systems software.
The Material Planning Coordinator will assist in the organization and direction of the activities of the Material Planning Department, and will assist in the development of metrics with which to evaluate the department's performance. Will improve key supplier relationships, strive for continuous improvement within MiTek and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining inventory control processes, ensuring security and accountability of inventory, documenting transactions and developing inventory systems to maximize turn ratios. In addition, this position will coordinate purchasing activities with other departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.
Coordinate and administer the financial accounting and analysis duties for the MiTek and AtlasIED companies. These duties include sales and product development support, cash management, month end closing, general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting and other ad hoc analysis.
Software Engineers are responsible for the development and maintenance of IED audio distribution and sound management of systems software and/or firmware.
Test Automation Engineers are responsible for the development and maintenance of automated engineering and regression tests of software and firmware used in IED audio distribution and management of systems.
Responsible for the staff and equipment located in all sheet metal fabrication areas. The Supervisor attends daily production planning meetings and moves people to assignments which will fulfill production needs, communicates daily with Maintenance to ensure high levels of equipment up time, performs formal and informal quality audits of processes and procedures; instills a zero defect mindset with the operators, and ensures procedures are in-line with current ISO documentation. The Supervisor creates a working environment that encourages continuous improvement ideas and implements change with Manufacturing Engineering.
Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports, in order to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
Will communicate short and long term staffing and equipment needs with the Facility Manager.
Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.
Plan and develop new products and production processes.
Identify waste and opportunity for improvements.
Complete continuous improvement projects with M.E. support.
Assist Maintenance in keeping equipment to OEM specs through daily PM’s and cleaning; inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
Coach and counsel sheet metal team in safe and productive process methods.
Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve productions methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Two to four years related experience in Fabrication and/or Production
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Basic Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and AIM)
Ability to learn MiTek's Internal System
Solid knowledge of Precision Sheet Metal methods and procedures
A solid understanding of applicable Lean Manufacturing techniques such as flow, set up reduction, cycle time
reduction, and building quality into the process is required.
