Eastern Regional Sales Manager


POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for all aspects of outside sales and technical support for the defined territory.  Will direct the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer, coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, goals, and establish training programs for sales representatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for the performance and development of assigned accounts by developing a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Initiates, coordinates and prepares action plans by account as well as by company for effective search of sales leads and prospects. Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Accounts. Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.


  • ESSENTIAL TASKS
  • Service & Support commercial designated customer base in Representative capacity
  • Cold canvas regional dealers, electrical contractors and industry associated customers and drive business back to MSW Distribution
  • Services/supports (rings) MSW customer sales as needed
  • Organize and maintain displays and assist in the inventory control of new shipments

    · Proficient understanding of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, AIM, and Acrobat)

    · Intermediate understanding of Peachtree Financial Software

       Other Requirements

    ·   Supply chain or retail management experience helpful

    ·   Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

    ·   Requires well-developed sales, communication, organization, and analytical skills

    ·   Understanding of product features, benefits, pricing, positioning, design, and advertising

    ·   Product knowledge of all MiTek Commercial brands
