Company Pilot


POSITION SUMMARY

The Corporate Pilot ensures that assigned company aircraft operations are conducted safely and efficiently. The Corporate Pilot must be able to fulfill these requirements as specified by the company Flight Operations Manual and the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations as well as the regulations of other governing authorities. The Corporate Pilot must also possess and demonstrate the skill and judgment required to perform these tasks in a superior manner

Company has one pilot, so position requires a flexible schedule, due to short notice trips.

Must have single pilot certification and a valid medical card.  

Plane Type - Cessna Citation Bravo 

Position will be located in Cape Girardeau, MO.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Completes and files FAA records and reports; completes aircraft and flight reports; and maintains personal flight log and records
  • Ensures servicing, storing and proper care and protection of Company aircraft and equipment while away from home base; issues purchase orders and signs for fees and services contracted; conducts post-flight inspection of aircraft; and reports malfunction and operating data to the maintenance section.
  • Analyze monthly and annual costs, budget trends, and opportunities for advancement and improvement
  • Collaborate with our 3rd party aircraft management company to manage the daily operations of the Aviation department
  • Partner with key executives and executive support staff to project future travel plans using company-owned aircraft
  • Promotes corporate goals and initiatives with focus on the planks of Economic Efficiency, Performance, and Customer Service.
  • Promotes and fosters a safe operating environment.
  • Liaison with Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, and other regulatory agencies as necessary for operational issues.
  • Evaluate and develop operational procedures and standards.
  • Exercise operational control of the airline.
  • Must be highly knowledgeable of the entire contents of the Flight Operations Manual library.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all applicable FAA regulations and guidance and their relationship to company manuals
  • Ensure flight operations and procedures are safe, efficient, effective, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Exercise administrative and supervisory control over all trip plans.

  • Participates in the Emergency Response plan as needed
  • Participates in management staff meetings and communications with other departments.
  • Assists with functions on site when at a physical plant location.

  • Education
    Bachelor’s Degree in any field

    Experience
    Min 1,500 hrs flight experience and at least 500 hrs in multi-engine aircraft (Jet exp preferred).

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

     Computer Skills

         Proficient understanding of MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

     

     Other Requirements

     

    ·               Instructor ratings, ATP, and Multi-Engine ratings. 

    ·               Ability to maintain personal or corporate credit card

    ·               Ability to travel as planned and unplanned events occur

    ·               Ability to maintain at least an FAA 2nd class medical

    ·               Detailed knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and Air Traffic Control procedures
