ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSOperate machine with supervision Learn to change machine settings (programs) to accommodate new work orders; Conduct peel tests, destructive test, and stud test before welding; make necessary adjustments to equipment. Learn to change out and load components to machine Read work orders and production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, and dimensions and tolerances.
Mark weld points and positions of components on workpieces, using rules, squares, templates, and scribes if necessary.

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Six months to one year related experience
